Welcome to TindaTap (the "App"), a mobile-first sales and inventory assistant built for sari-sari store owners and neighborhood retailers, operated by TindaTap ("we," "us," or "our"). We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you maintain total ownership of your store's commercial data.

This Privacy Policy explains how our App handles information. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. The Core Principle: Local Storage First

Unlike traditional, cloud-heavy systems, your critical business transactions—including your digital paper tape sales history, inventory catalog items, and customer credit logs—are stored locally on your mobile device. We do not maintain or own a remote databases of your specific sales logs or ledger histories.

2. Information Collected and Processed

To provide our offline-first assistant features, the App processes the following categories of information on your device:

• Inventory & Catalog Data: Product names, category classifications, prices, custom photos, and barcode numbers (EAN, UPC, Code128) you save to build your catalog.
• Sales History & Paper Tape Records: Summarized tallies of completed checkouts, calculated expression tallies, and timestamped transaction amounts.
• Utang (Credit) Ledger Records: Names of customers assigned to custom credit records along with their outstanding balances.
• Device Permissions utilized:
  • Camera: Used solely to scan barcodes and capture product photos for catalog setups.
  • Storage/Files: Used solely to execute local manual CSV backup data exports and structural restoration files.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Because your transaction logs are stored on your individual device, we do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your private store data or customer tracking sheets to third parties. Any exports, data backups, or spreadsheet transmissions are executed manually and exclusively by you, the store owner.

4. Regulatory and Tax Disclaimer

TindaTap operates purely as an internal, manual computational assistant. The App does not automatically transmit data to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Electronic Sales Reporting (eSales) System, nor does it generate official regulatory tax receipts or electronic invoices[cite: 13, 103, 182]. Users remain individually responsible for fulfilling their manual receipt issuance obligations in compliance with national revenue regulations[cite: 270].

5. Data Retention and Security

Since your transaction history, digital tape receipts, and credit ledgers reside directly on your device's memory, the security of that data depends entirely on your mobile device settings. If you uninstall the App, clear your local application cache, or factory reset your phone without generating a manual backup CSV file, your local data records will be permanently lost.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to align with new feature releases or localized mobile environment enhancements. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy text directly on our official web domain at tindatap.com/privacy/.
